What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy the student being able to see and understand the concepts of the topics they are studying, or at least see them develop a working knowledge of it (in the context of Mathematics and Engineering subjects). I also enjoy seeing the student realise that their their experiences of failures in school does not define their capability to learn.My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
My strengths as a tutor: - I have a passion in teaching Mathematics. - I go the extra mile with my teaching. e.g. I have made videos specifically made for the tutees and e-mailed it to them (with the permission with their parents if they are not adults). - I have deep understanding of Mathematical concepts - I have good problem solving skills I am also an electrical engineering student and I am very experienced with Yr 11 and 12 Math units - General Mathematics to Mathematics Extension 1.Most important things I can do for a student π
The most important thing a tutor can do to for a student is to unlock a students learning potential. In my experience of tutoring Mathematics each and every student has a unique way of thinking and a unique way of problem solving. This unfortunately is not catered on some learning environments. Another important thing a tutor can do for a student studying Mathematics is to be able to provide clear explanations to the formulas.
