What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The best part of tutoring according to me is analysing the way in which young students think. They aren't trained to think/solve problems in any particular way. This allows them to look at the problem with different scenarios which are sometimes overlooked by experts. Another fun part of tutoring is watching the students explore new areas of interest/easier methods to solve problems. If taught correctly, they tend to enjoy the subject more and end up taking advanced problems on their own.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As a tutor i can point out following as strengths: 1. Doubt Solving: In case a student has some doubts, i get them cleared right away instead of proceeding further with teaching. This allows the confused student to get back on track at the right time. 2. Humour: I always try to include some jokes or funny stories in the topic being taught. This actually helps to remember the topic in later stages. 3. Puzzles: I include various puzzles in the teaching session which allows the student to think with a broader perspective instead of limiting oneself to standard bookish knowledge.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do is help the student develop interest for the subject. Once the student is throughly interested in the subject, he/she starts to explore on their own. After that the tutor just needs to guide the student in the correct path and occasionally help with difficult problems. However this is not an easy task. Helping to develop interest involves creation of real world problems for the student to solve. Once the student starts getting used to solving the problems, the challenge level can be gradually increased.
