What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy helping children break through barriers with their learning. If they find something difficult, we can explore different strategies to find what works for them, as all children learn differently.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

To always be patient and to be approachable. Making sure you are kind and calm when explaining new topics and helping with difficult tasks. To always be encouraging when they get stuck on something.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Finding other ways of working out a problem. If something has been said and isn’t ‘going in’ we can try a visual approach or written down approach, whatever works for the student . Being patient I think is very important, not getting frustrated with the student and using positive language, for example ‘good try’ or ‘nearly there’. Never shaking their confidence. I find it important to always encourge them too.
