I find great passion in helping others excel in their studies. The process of guiding a student through the complex layers of concepts, wrapping their head around difficult materials, and solidifying their understanding is very rewarding.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Tutoring can be stressful at times, especially when the student does not understand the theory regardless of how I try to explain it. One of the strengths that I can offer as a tutor is empathy. Having completed VCE myself, I totally understand the stresses of a high school student. While teaching the material is the main duty of a tutor, I will always give the student words of encouragement when they are feeling stressed over school. In addition, I will observe the learning habits of the student, and give constructive feedback to improve their learning.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing for a tutor is to inspire students to learn, and develop their own passion for learning. Learning should not be seen as a criteria for entries to tertiary institutes. Most of the time, people learn for the marks. While an A+ or that 50 raw is satisfying, it may not be the best for the student in the long run. I want my students to know that we learn because we want to understand the world around us in a better way. Once students adopt this passion, the marks will come naturally.Tutoring students in 👦 👧

Maddison needs a better understanding of the definition of the gradient in a linear relation. She is encouraged in future lessons to ask more questions whenever she finds diffculty in understanding the mathematical rational behind the question.
