What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I loved studying mathematics during school, and so i am continuing to study maths (both calculus and linear algebra) at university. I have also been tutoring younger kids since was in year 9, where i have tutored disadvantaged kids (as young as 8 years old) through the Smith Family tutoring program (of which I loved even more than regular tutoring) as well as tutoring as a job for a bit over a year. I love being tutor since it allows me to work in the area that I actually love. Furthermore, I enjoy working with kids that are either much younger or roughly of similar age to me.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe that I am very competent at explaining difficult to grasp concepts, via methods that simply are not explained via textbooks that are easier to grasp. I also consider myself to be a very enthusiastic and bubbly person, and i pride myself on making my tutorials as enjoyable as possible in order to inspire the tutee.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Apart from knowing the subject that is being tutored inside and out, I believe the most important thing a tutor can be is clear charismatic, since the tutor must be able to explain difficult concepts and ideas through the best means possible. This also means that the tutee will be inspired to enjoy the subject rather than dread it, encouraging their own enjoyment of the subject.
