What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy providing students with an understanding of mathematical or scientific concepts which they were initially unsure about. On a personal level, this ability to understand echos back as a way of confirming that I am not only competent in teaching, but have done a great deal to help the individual.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, I believe that I can assist students in establishing a fundamental understanding of core concepts by beginning with the basic principles. This is something which I have done as a mentor in high school for two students.
I love physics and chemistry, which has reflected a 94 on the Physics HSC examination and 87 on the Chemistry exam. In the mathematics exam, I achieved a 95 and on extension 1 I achieved a 46 (of 50). However, English as a means of textual analysis is absolutely one of my weaknesses and is something I am unable to cater for in potential clients
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important thing a tutor can do is leave the client with a feeling of achievement, that they have gained a new, reinforced or re-established understanding of things they may have been uncertain or unaware about. If at the end of the day the individual feels like they haven't changed, then this, I believe is an indication of failure to successfully tutor a student.

Not something to improve on, but must make study notes. A 64-96 page exercise book will suffice. It should have formula; components of formula; very simple example.
remembered some multiples, arithmetic greatly improved

although arithmetic is improving, still needs work on remembering times tables/multiples off by heart.

Arithmetic ability still considerably weak. Jack needs to understand that using your fingers to count is 100% acceptable as it is the best way he is going to improve mental adding and subtracting.
Very big improvement on memorising factors. Times table practice is paying off.

Sometimes comes up with errors in multiplication arithmetic, although the errors are quite close to correct values.
