What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy watching the academic growth of the student as they develop their own skills and reach their set goals. I believe that tutoring is a very rewarding vocation as you are able to join the student in their academic journey and set them on the path for future success. In particular, the element of satisfaction when the student is able to solve a problem that they were previously stuck on is simply breath-taking and I look forward to reaching moments like these.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe my academic strengths in both mathematics and other subjects generally posits me as someone who both understands both the mathematical concept and the application of said concept.
Furthermore, as a former student, I am able to relate with the struggles of my students and provide them with real solutions to solve issues that I myself had recently faced during my own experiences with difficult subjects.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important contribution a tutor can provide is to assist in establishing great study habits that work, setting the student up for success in the long run. Whilst there are many tutors out there that merely provide short term help through comprehensive cheat sheets and the like, a real tutor will teach the transferable skills such that they are both able to achieve their goals in the immediate tutored subject, but also so that they can easily apply these skills to other domains of their life for a comprehensive and well-rounded wellbeing.
