What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Teaching and learning has always been and important part of my life; my father was a primary school teacher for 35 years. I find great satisfaction in learning something new and being able to pass that knowledge onto someone else. I also enjoy the sense of acheivement when you can finally complete a difficult problem or assignment and I would like to have the oppotunity to be a part of this experience for the next generation of students.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe I have excellent communication skills; I can take complex topics and break them down in such a way that they can be understood by my students.
I also think that I have great patience when it comes to tutoring. I understand that there are many difficult topics in maths and science and that everyone learns at different rates. I believe I will be able to provide excellent encouragment and support to my students, especially when they are struggling with a difficult topic.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Firstly, a tutor needs to be a strong communicator; it doesnt't matter how smart you are, if you cannot explain the concepts to your students effectively, they won't be able to learn from you.
Secondly, a good tutor is someone who can offer guidence through problems and assigments, without simply giving them the answer or doing it for them.
Finally, the most important thing I believe a tutor can do for a student is to encourage them to learn and work hard. A student is much more likely to succeed if they are in a comfortable study environment and they are enjoying the work they are doing.
