What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
There are two things I enjoy most about tutoring. On one hand, I feel so impressed to witness each student growing up and achieving their ideal goal with my help. On the other hand, I can gain more experience of not only communicating skills but also teaching skills. Although each tutoring lasts only one to two hours, I believe students and tutors could interact with each other as well as grow together.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Since I have great passion for mathematics and chemistry, I have confidence to help my students to figure out their academic problems. For mathematics subjects, one important thing for me to teach my students is to guide them to think about what the question asks. Critical thinking is really important for students when they start one mathematics question: What does this question want me to get? Can I apply some formula to solve? Or in order to get to the applying formula process, do I need to calculate some steps to get the variable I want? As a tutor, I will guide them think about those.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Tutors are different with teachers, of course. As a tutor, I can teach fewer students in a small classroom (1to1/1to 2), which means I can take care of each child, not only on their school work but also on their mental thinking ; I can answer their questions in time or straight away; I can help them to have a look of their homework questions or exam questions. Last but not the least, I am helping my students to gain confidence on the subjects they used to struggle with.Subjects Tutored 🎓
