What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Helping out students that are struggling where I can also relate to them because I have been in a similar situation before. Also seeing the student's face after they understand a troublesome problem also gives me satisfaction that I have accomplished something and tutoring people feels like you're raising a plant. Where if he/she achieves good grades it also makes I myself feel good.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe I have taken alot of math in my schooling life, etc. Took Math B and C during my high school years and out of the study areas Math is my strongest area. I also took physics in high school where I achieved an A- for. In uni (UQ) I have studied Calculus and Linear Algebra I (Course Code: MATH1051) and Multivariate Calculus & Ordinary Differential Equations (MATH1052) achieving a grade of 5 and 6 respectively. I have also studied Thermodynamics in high school achieving a 7 for the course (ENGG1500). Currently undertaking another math course; Calculus and Linear Algebra II (MATH2000).

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing I believe between a tutor and student is the tutor relating to the student personally. For example, the tutor has had similar problems in the past with this question when he/she was studying and this tutor will be able to see what parts to the problem the student may be having difficulties with. Another important thing is that a tutor must be approachable, friendly and patient since if a tutor is too intimidating the student might be reluctant to ask questions or seek for help.
