What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Being able to really help a student improve in something they once felt really discouraged about. Giving them as many resources as they need to succeed and have them be progressively more confident and proud of themselves as they progress throughout the units.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am punctual and reliable so I would never miss lessons, and making sure I am well prepared before each lesson, knowing what the student will be learning in class and having work prepared to cater to that. I can also relate to the student in terms of improvement - I started off in year 11 Maths Methods barely passing, finishing off year 12 with a score I was very proud of, exactly what I hope all students I tutor would feel at the end of the year.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Be supportive whilst you're teaching them, in terms of chatting to the student and making sure they're comfortable enough to tell you all parts of the problem that they're struggling with. If a tutor doesn't make the student feel comfortable and supported then they are less likely to get the most out of the tutoring.

Just making sure he has notes accessible to reference :)
Flynn has really got a handle on Financial and linear modules which is what was on earlier in the year so wasn't quite as confident with.
