What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy seeing someone realize they are capable of doing something they didn't believe they could. Particularly with people who believe they aren't "maths people", I like to see them grasp unfamiliar concepts.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I have a practical approach and have mentored students of ages 18 to 55. With mathematics and physics education there is often a focus on how to perform a process, I see my strength as a focus on principles rather than rote learning processes. When students understand the underlying principles of a topic they become more flexible problem solvers.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think its most important a tutor supports students while they are first learning an unfamiliar topic, helps them practice to gain confidence, and ensures they are able to perform independently by providing constructive feedback.
