What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is getting to know my students, watching them progress in their studies over time, and seeing their self-confidence grow. It is always special getting to see that "aha" moment when a student finally understands what you have been working on.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think my biggest strengths as a tutor are my patience, kindness, and adaptability. One thing I have learned from being a tutor is that every student is different, so that requires adaptability on the tutor's end to adjust their teaching style or lesson structure to best fit the student. Patience is always an important skill to have as a tutor because you never want your student to feel discouraged when they don't understand a concept at first. Lastly, I believe kindness towards students can go a long way in creating an exceptional learning environment so they enjoy their time learning.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is create an environment that they feel comfortable and capable of learning and making mistakes in, because failure is an important part of learning. It is our job as tutors to be advocates of our students, which means providing encouragement, empowerment, and an ear to listen to their concerns.
