What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
Tutoring has a lot of rewards emotionally. Personally, it makes me feel great when I realise that kids might've learned at least one thing or two from what I teach them. Moreover, teaching what I already know very well makes me feel like I am in control with my life to an extent. Re-entering the zone of familiarity is somewhat needed for me to distract myself from my hectic uni schedule and studies.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I can explain concepts quite well, and I make sure that i know the logic behind everything i teach so that i can help the kids understand what they are being taught. Moreover, I'm quite a fun person and easy to get along with so the kids will have fun learning. Due to my dedication, I'd be openly willing to help kids to my greatest extent.
Most important things I can do for a student π
Listen to their ideas and help them realise how they can be moulded to fit the criteria that is set for them to meet. This is also coming from my own perspective of what I'd expect, as most times teachers impose their ideas on students and they are left alone to not be able to think for themselves.
