What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy being able to help young students achieve breakthroughs with their learning. As a student myself I can assure you, there is no greater feeling than finally understanding a question that you have been stuck on for a while.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I am a patient and understanding individual, with great communication and management skills. Coming from an Asian background, and being fluent in my mother tongues are both strengths I believe. I speak Chinese and Vietnamese quite fluently. My experiences from working at kumon are also strengths of mine, as I have already been exposed to this sort of working environment.
Most important things I can do for a student π
I believe the greatest thing a tutor can do for a student is not to show them how to do the question but to teach them how to find said solution. As the saying goes, βGive a man a fish and he will eat for a day, but teach a man to fish and he will eat foreverΓ’β¬Γ
