What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I have always enjoyed learning with my peers and helping other students understand concepts. I find tutoring a very rewarding experience, particularly when you help others understand a concept that they either struggled with or were unable to comprehend previously.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

I am a very visual learner and because of this I am able to come up with analogies and relate concepts to a wide range of other topics. This enables the student to understand something that they found previously difficult especially in higher levels of mathematics. I am a very patient and easy to talk to person so I believe students would be comfortable explaining their issues and I am able to take a step by step patient approach to solving these. I can easily adapt my teaching style to meet the learning needs of the student.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

The most important thing that a tutor can do is motivate a student. No matter how good the tutor or the student, if the student doesn't want to put in the effort then tutoring will be far less effective. If you are able to motivate your student and make the learning somewhat entertaining then that student will achieve much greater results than they would otherwise. As a tutor, you always hope for your student to become an independent learner that is confident in their learning ability.
