What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I went to a High School that didn't have an amazing academic reputation. In that environment, I learnt there can be a lot of negativity and stress surrounding learning, when it really should be something enjoyable. What I love most about tutoring is being able to make a difference in other peoples lives, help them get past the frustrating part of learning, into the fun parts and allow them to recognise that no matter who they are, they have the ability to do well and exceed any expectations set before them.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe my biggest strength is versatility. I have a love of both English and Mathematical subjects and have an ability to communicate with people from many different parts of life. I am a naturally optimistic and patient person, and I can understand the bigger picture of a complex concept, but more importantly tailor an explanation specific to someone in a way I believe will allow them to understand it best.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I don't believe studying should be a chore. I think the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is enable them to see the beauty and fun of any subject rather than letting them focus on the anxiety or stress that comes with its difficulty. If a tutor can allow a student to not only do well in their subject, but also enjoy it, that to me is a true measure of success.

Testimonials 🏆
