What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The most enjoyable thing about tutoring is the 'give and take' nature of tutoring. It is rewarding knowing you can help people, teach people, and share your knowledge, so that they can learn and grow. Tutoring is also enjoyable as you can socialise and communicate with others, but also, it enables you to gain new insights, ideas and perspectives from the students.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As a tutor, I am patient with students, encouraging, and passionate at what I do. At times, students may not want to learn and simply do not understand. My persistent and motivating nature is a strength in times like this. Also, I believe that it a strength that I respect and am considerate of all students.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

One of the most important things that a tutor, or any teacher, can do for a student is be there for them. By this, I mean tutors should be encouraging, supportive and understanding of students, as students can often have their downfalls (for instance, if they don't do as well as they hoped for in their exam). At times like this, students must be motivated, so they can perform better in their upcoming assessments. Another important 'thing' tutors can do for students is discipline. Expectations and goals need to be set by tutors, so students can aim higher and achieve better results.
