What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy helping others find their own way and seeing how the students become excited about understanding concepts that they may have found difficult before. I enjoy that because I myself have struggled with concepts and I understand how frustrating it can be.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths that contribute to my tutoring would be that I am patient. For my art major work I did an animation, drawing 12 frames per second for a 2 minute video. This applies to helping students as I need to suspend my patience and give an informed decision about how to go about handling certain questions and how to teach the student to apply what they know instead of giving them the answer right away.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe a tutor must always guide the student, finding a balance between giving them the answer and letting the student figure it out on their own. The tutor is not there to do homework, but to help the student to understand concepts and to have a strong foundation on which they can grow upon and use in the future.
