I love imparting my passion for science and maths to others. I believe it not only makes children feel more empowered but it would also allow me to improve my interpersonal, communication and organisation skills. I am an approachable, friendly person who would encourage kids to not be worried about asking questions that may seem silly. I genuinely believe that there is no such thing as a stupid question and I would let any kids that I tutor know this. I am also very patient so I would maintain composure even if someone doesn't understand a concept. I think the most important thing a tutor can do is make a student feel empowered by realising that they are capable of achieving their goals in the classroom. I believe that this realisation comes about when they understand that at a young age especially, intelligence is not fixed but able to grow when they challenge themselves.
