What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The feeling of satisfaction when a student understands a concept is unparalleled to anything else. It gives me a sense of joy when concepts that may seem difficult in hindsight becomes understandable to students, which in some cases allows them to see a sense of beauty in mathematics.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Empathy, patience and a liking to making sure students understand a concept. I take pride in understanding the mathematical concepts rather than memorising question types, which goes without question my ability to transfer this thought process onto my students, which allows them to be able to tackle a much larger variety of questions.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do is to be a role model. This shapes the students work ethic, which not only helps their organisational skills, but allows them to be willing to learn. Being a mentor is vital, since if a students basic needs in terms of stress isn't met, then learning is at the bottom of their list of priorities.
