In my lessons, I focus on explaining content in an easy manner tailored to the student’s learning style, working through practice questions, addressing any areas of concerns and building on essential skills and knowledge in the lead up to tests and exams.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important thing a tutor can do is provide constant reassurance in their abilities. I feel like a lot of the time when students feel overwhelmed with school work they lose confidence in their ability to answer questions to write an essay. Having a tutor, someone who can guide them, motivate them and assess and improve weak areas will provide students with the confidence to complete homework and assessments and develop self-efficacy.
