What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
Not only do I enjoy the challenge of finding multiple ways to explain to a student a concept so they can understand and learn properly but also I enjoy helping the student gain more self confidence in the subject and their ability to take on and tackle new problems and subjects. Many times students that come to tutors are already working very hard but may get frustrated with themselves because they are going about things the wrong way. It is great to not just help in the one or two particular points of necessity but to further their understanding of how to learn on their own as well.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I think my strongest attribute as a tutor is my ability to quickly assess a student's needs and adjust my tutoring/teaching methods to efficiently aid in understanding and solving their problems with a concept.
Most important things I can do for a student π
I think the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to help a student gain the confidence and obtain the building blocks needed to not need a tutor as much in the future. Obviously, the priority is to first be able to learn what they are having trouble with initially, but the overall goal is to help them learn how to learn by themselves.
