What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Learning is what I derive the most joy doing. The entire purpose of tutoring is refining and furthering your own knowledge in order to pass that knowledge onto other people and in turn, move them to a deeper understanding of the subject matter. Being able to convert an "I don't understand" to "I finally understand" highlights the influence my teaching has had on others as well as confirming the knowledge I already possess and continue to improve upon.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I'm able to admit the mistakes I made during the HSC and schooling in general to my students. While the tutor/ student relationship should be maintained during tuition so that respect is so too maintained, I believe personalising the experience for students can push them to evaluate themselves in their general lives. If we are able to honestly admit that we took our studies for granted and were too lazy to capitalise on how much better our marks could have been, there is a chance that we can alert our students to not follow in the same suit and move them to work harder in their studies.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe that teaching students a healthy mentality towards work and study is essential. No student is stupid and bad marks don't reflect idiocy - instead, they reflect a willingness to work hard. Anyone with a true desire to do well and the motivation to put that desire into action will work hard and do well - we need to emphasise this to students as otherwise, no content will truly permeate their minds and our teaching will be ineffective.Testimonials 🏆
