What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I believe in sharing and spreading knowledge. Tutoring is very rewarding profession because knowing students you teach progressing in their education, going on to achieve many things and being part of their life journey in aiding to open up doors of opportunities with them is a very fulfilling feeling.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I love sharing my knowledge with others. I am good at breaking things down and simplifying concepts. If a student requires my help in a topic such as algebra and has difficulty in a complex equation I believe in working through simplified examples first rather than jumping right into something unfamiliar to them. This builds not only their foundation and understanding of the concept but also their confidence in maths. Many students often lose interest and confidence in tests and exams because of lack of fundamental understanding. As a student myself who once struggled with the subject I believe that anyone can master and tackle the most difficult problemsΒ with a strong foundation. In addition, I regard myself as a patient person therefore even when encountering a student that requires more time to understand a concept I would gladly help him/her through it.
Most important things I can do for a student π
Putting in the effort to understand their needs and revising the topics they need help with even before their lessons. Making the most of the time the student has with a tutor is essential for the student's learning process. Being patient no matter how much the student is struggling to grasp a subject & constructive criticism in regards to their study habits is also vital for the student's progress.
