What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I find that the more effective your ability to teach a subject, the better you come to understand it yourself. While I am motivated to help the student achieve their academic goals, there is the benefit that I become more fundamentally sound with mathematics. I am able to extend my knowledge to help others, which in turn provides me with quality learning.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am friendly and willing to listen. I understand the importance of discussion to the learning process. I am not afraid to cater my teaching methods to fit the student at hand, and I believe the biggest reason for this is my openness and flexible approach learning.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Tutors can regurgitate the curriculum back to students exactly how most high school teachers do, however I don't think this is a great strategy. Tutors are given the opportunity to have 1 on 1 time with students, which has a much greater influence on the pupil. Tutors can use these sessions to accelerate their students learning, and ultimately build their academic confidence - this is highly important in a world where grade anxiety and academic insecurity runs rampant.
