As I have recently graduated high school, I have experienced similar difficulties and hardships to other students and therefore as a student know the most effective ways that have helped me to overcome any difficulties I faced. Through this empathy, I am able to determine causes of difficulties and address them in the most appropriate way. The most important thing for a tutor is being able to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the student. This will allow for the most efficient use of time and it will be the most beneficial to the student as the tutor can focus on addressing the weaknesses of the student. Furthermore it is essential that the tutor can interact with the student in a supportive way to build confidence.
