What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I have always enjoyed maths in school as I love overcoming problems. For me, tutoring maths is similar as I have to overcome challenges to convey particular concepts or to explain how to complete questions. Furthermore I enjoy the satisfaction when a student has that 'ahhhh' moment when they finally understand that concept or problem they have been struggling with.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

I'm a comfortable person to be around as I frequently attempt to be humorous, sometimes to my own detriment and as a result get along with students well. Furthermore I am a good communicator, from my many years of experience with both public speaking and debating. This allows me to convey ideas and concepts clearly in a way that the student can hopefully understand.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

I feel that the most important things a tutor can do for a student, especially a student in high school is to reduce stress. Math tests and exams often, if not always stress students, however tutors I feel can reduce this stress by helping the student with questions and concepts, thus boosting their confidence and reducing their stress to allow students to achieve maximum marks in assessments.
