What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

During my time as a tutor, I have grown and developed in all aspects of myself, both mentally and emotionally. I have learned and experienced things I would never have been able to if I wasn’t a tutor. I have seen things and developed new philosophies and views regarding the student life and even with dealing with other people in general. Most of all, I have found great enjoyment during my time as a tutor. So here are some things I have enjoyed as a tutor: 1) Independence 2) Connection 3) Impact

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

1) Patient ; most import skill in dealing with young people 2) I am soft spoken and approachable; Students love being with me. 3) facilitator ; rather than feeding students with the concepts, I prefer helping students explore and learn on their own so that they become independent learner. 4) multiple strategies : I introduce children to multiple strategies while solving mathematics problem 5) Teach children through games, stories and songs 6)I did Bachelors in Education in Mathematics and I am trained in Teaching Mathematics (Royal University of Bhutan)

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Be honest. Be flexible. Be patient. Be a good listener. Be professional. Be willing to share your own experiences. Be a collaborator. Teach the student how to learn. As a tutor your ultimate goal is to help the student become an independent learner. Be confident. Use available resources.
