What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The fact that I am teaching mathematical and scientific concepts and ideas that I am extremely passionate about, myself, to students who can benefit widely from, provides me with a strong gratification. Also, continuing teaching subjects to HSC students resonates deeply with me as I can understand the feeling of success and happiness felt when a concept or difficult idea is grasped after being taught eloquently and succinctly, ultimately leading to success in one's studies.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My ability to communicate and interact with people is a huge strength of mine as it provides me with the ability to convey and properly explain topics to ensure in depth understanding, rather than promoting rote learning. Also, my outgoing and friendly personality allows me to connect with students on a personal and friendship level, rather than an building an authoritative teacher vs. student relationship which may lead to a lower level of confidence in the student. Last but not least, I, myself recently completed the HSC and hence, I grasp a strong understanding with the syllabi taught.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A tutor's job in my opinion is to assist their students to understand ideas and syllabus content to their full potential and be able to apply their extensive knowledge to achieve their best potential. Furthermore, a tutor should increase their students' confidence in approaching new concepts and material, and to continually adopt a good work ethic with constant effort and practice, also developing resilience in times where certain expectations are not met within a student.
