What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I really enjoy seeing students develop more confidence in their abilities and being able to watch their growth. Helping people is something I'm very passionate about, as evidenced through my extensive volunteering work. However, there is something particularly rewarding in helping a child with their education- it has the ability to set them on a positive course into high school/ university and really broaden their horizons.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe I am patient and encouraging as a tutor and I like to let students have a chance to work out a problem or find a solution for themselves. I believe this type of subtle assistance is often more useful and ultimately more rewarding for the student, so they can feel a sense of achievement. I am also very organised and I'm good at using an allocated block of time efficiently, so the student could gain the most out of the session.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing a tutor can do is ultimately foster a love of learning in their students. This can be done through encouragement and praise when appropriate, being patient and allowing them the opportunity to grow and improve; ultimately boosting their confidence in their studies.
