What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Tutoring allows me to connect with the student, and although sometimes may require a lot of work, it is very rewarding when a student is able to understand a concept, to which they feel accomplished about. Even more so, the ability of being able to impart my knowledge onto a student is very satisfying as they learn more about the subject. This is especially with mathematics, which I am very passionate about as once the student gains a grasp of the concepts, they start to find the topics easier and thus struggle less. I enjoy tutoring, as it allows me to let others enjoy learning.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths as a tutor include my creative methods of explanation, to really allow a student to understand the content and process. My approach to teaching allows a fun environment, motivating the student to learn as well as enjoy it at the same time. I am able to relate to the student, as improvement is a learning process, rather than a straight increase in marks since I have recently done the HSC. Also, as a trend, my students have been improving, through my thorough teaching methods. I can making learn a fun experience, rather than it being looked down on as a chore.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Some of the most important things that I, as a tutor can do for my student would be to mainly allow my students to understand, allowing the student to be comfortable in their environment. A tutor should connect with their student, and understand a student's weakness as well as strengths, focusing on what they need to improve. Tutoring isn't about just teaching everything, but rather focusing on pushing students forward but in a sense the student is allowed to explore on their own and does not feel pressured. Slowly, then a student can develop their skills and succeed.
