What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy helping other people understand new ideas. If other people succeed in their goals or improve in their studies because of my tutoring, I find that very rewarding for me. I take joy when students can begin to enjoy their subjects as well. Explaining concepts also allows me to see what gaps I have in my knowledge and how I can improve. I find it satisfying when I find new and better ways to explain concepts.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think my strengths as a tutor are that I am generally open to different interpretations and ways of working. For me I like to learn and for this to happen, I understand that my view is not the only way of thinking. I feel like I can explain concepts well, but I also feel like this can vary. I also believe I have the knowledge to teach my subjects since I did quite well in the HSC.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe my most important role as a tutor is provide a supportive environment in a way that it is open to a variety of personalities and ways of thinking. It is only if the student is comfortable that the student and tutor can work cooperatively which will allow for the student to learn. The tutor should also attempt to understand the student. In this way the tutor can teach the appropriate things.
