What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I have found it incredibly rewarding to tutor in the past, being able to help young students unlock their own potential and guide them into understanding subjects they may not feel as confident about. My tutors, from when I was younger, did the same for me and I couldn't be more grateful. I want to be able to help pay that forward by guiding and nurturing students into turning the subject they may feel less confident about, into one that they can tackle with ease.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My history of being a student, a tutor and a trainer in the army, have led me to developing skills like observation, strategic adaptability, kindness, patience, persistence, and a structured, yet modular design to teaching to help every individual student. I think my strength and knowledge for a specific subject also translates into a strong ability to teach. My calm, and friendly demeanor will also allow students to ask questions comfortably without feeling overwhelmed or nervous, therefore expediting their progress.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the ability to listen to a student and observe their strengths and weaknesses is particularly important. Addressing each individual students needs is critical for their growth, and it would also allow me as a tutor to help guide them in the best, most efficient way forward to unlock their own potential. Kindness is also crucial, so that the students spirit and motivation is not dampened. Being able to give them a space where they are not afraid to make errors and gently guiding them into understanding where they have gone wrong is the best way to help the student learn
