What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I really enjoy interacting with the students as well as giving them that additional 'boost' of help they are looking for. Having been someone who had tutoring myself growing up, I understand the struggles that come along with balancing school and additional activities. As such, I know how important this extra help can be. I enjoy forming bonds with the students I tutor and getting to know them on a more personal level which I believe can help them learn better when I can pick up their strengths and weaknesses.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Patience is one trait I believe will help me succeed as a tutor as students need someone who is willing and able to slowly explain difficult (or even easy) concept to them. Additionally, my enthusiasm towards helping students will definitely help me to be more willing to help them further should they need extra guidance.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Having that listening ear for your student is important as every child is different. As such, it is important to know and acknowledge that each student will have a different skill set and thus succeed in different approaches. That listening ear will be helpful and important as this will give the student opportunities to explain themselves more freely and easily. This will not only help the student feel more comfortable in expressing their thoughts while learning but can also help to relief some pressure when it comes to learning new information.
