What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
What I enjoy the most is seeing the student you are mentoring improve their grades, but it's not their improved grades that I enjoy seeing it is how they grow and become more confident in themselves as a result.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I think I'm a very understanding tutor, I've been in the student's position before and therefore am very aware of their difficulties. I also realise that everybody learns differently and I strive to explain things in a way that is unique to each student so that they can fully grasp a certain concept. I am a very friendly person and always try my best to create a good mentoring relationship between myself and the student.
Most important things I can do for a student π
The most important thing a tutor can do is be encouraging. A tutor could give the best explanation but if the student is unmotivated and lacks confidence in their own ability then they're not going to achieve as much. Another important aspect of being a good tutor is being patient, not every student is going to understand something the first time around, so a tutor has to be able to explain things multiple times in different ways so that a student will eventually be able to understand a certain topic.
