What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
So much of the modern work landscape concerns me, but thankfully tutoring (and, more widely, teaching) is one of those few ethical havens of employment I can look at and throw myself into with all my passions and without any concern about the effects of the work I'm doing. What I enjoy the most about tutoring is the positive affects it has on those I teach, and how clearly apparent the benefits I've helped provide can become.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have an incredibly wide knowledge set, dabbling in English, mathematics, language in general (including quite a bit of Latin), history, science, and philosophy most of all; but these aren't truly separate fields, given how thoroughly they connect and relate to each other. Learning anything is learning everything. Also, I have lots of experience with keeping the tempo, and attention, in a teaching environment.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Teach. Not just the lesson at hand, and not just the syllabus, but to teach generally, and to teach widely.
