What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I thoroughly enjoy connecting with those I tutor and help, and it is something I get a lot out of. I personally know how frustrating it can be to not understand certain concepts and how helpless it can feel, and also how empowering it feels when you finally get it. I love helping students to achieve this and the joy it gives them to figure out something they thought was impossible.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as tutor are that I am a very approachable and patient person, who would rather go over the same thing a million times and have the student understand rather than not speak up. Not long out of high school, I'm very familiar with the coursework and am still very much in the midst of my own education, hence I'm able to provide students with current information. I'm also very supportive and understanding, which I think is essential in a tutor.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to be able to listen and understand from the students perspective, so that they are able to teach them in the manner that is best for the student. At the end of the day, if the student is able to gain the satisfaction of conquering even the smallest of concepts with the help of their tutor, then this will motivate them to continue to endeavour with their learning.
