What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I think it's seeing the student grow through time through my motivation and their dedication. I view tutoring not simply as a one-way transmission but a journey we embark on together.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My ability to think as a child.
It may sound weird, but this allows me to put myself in their perspective and see the lesson along with its pain points. From then on, I can make adjustments to my teaching methods in a way that makes them most interested in learning, and not bored by the tedium of theoretical lessons.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Because delivering the lesson and making sure the student understands is basically a essence of being a tutor, I wouldn't consider it the most important. Instead, it's helping my students identify the "WHY"s (the purpose of their learning, values applicable beyond the lesson) as well as the "HOW"s (the way they can achieve it, even if the learning journey is over for us), or in other words, the ability to inspire them to find learning fun.
