What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I am passionate about maths and science and really enjoy the opportunity to share my passion with others and show them how fun it can be! I enjoy being able to help others succeed in these subjects and enjoy them as much as I do
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have 18 months of experience working as an Education Support worker, working in classrooms and 1-on-1 with students. I feel that this has given me lots of useful tools for teaching kids, as well as familiarising myself with the curriculum at all year levels and how to approach kids and work with them effectively. I excel in maths and science, and am currently studying a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Mathematics and Physics, with the hope of becoming a teacher in the future.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think a tutor needs to be able to create that working relationship with a student, to show them how fun learning can be. When shown how interesting these things can be, students become much more motivated to engage and learn, and the 1-on-1 support that tutoring provides gives these children the tools they need to excel.

About Jeremiah
My life!
After living in Australia until I was 11, I moved to Vanuatu and completed high school there! I learnt to speak fluent French and Bislama (the local language of Vanuatu), and recently came back to Australia to study and work.
My work and studies
Since coming back to Australia, I have been working as an Education Support worker at Reservoir High School, as well as doing some work with outside school hours care programs. While working, I have been studying a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Maths and Physics.
My hobbies
I'm a massive nerd, I love playing board games and video games, and regularly organise game nights with my friends. I also do judo, ice hockey and netball.
