What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy seeing when the person I'm tutoring finally get the problem right and understand how to solve them. Almost like a light in their eyes.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I respect the person I'm tutoring. This is important so that they don't see you as an enemy or a teacher but as a person that guides them. I am passionate to the point where I myself enjoy doing the problems and it makes it easier for the person to become passionate as well.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

It is important to build a relationship with the student and to always guide them but not push them to their limits. It is also important that the student understands how its done, while having them memorise a pattern is easy, allowing them to understand how to solve these types of questions will allow them to apply their solution to more things.

About Alexey

What I Study?

Currently I study at UWA to obtain my Bachelor of Engineering Honours, in the discipline of Automation and Robotics. Learning all the subjects of engineering is quite hard but it is very rewarding, I get to apply all the theory I learnt in school such as Physics and Maths. I also get to learn the aspect of software, mechanical, and electric side of engineering. Mastering the basics will help tremendously in life.

What I do for Fun?

I actually get to build racecars. I am part of the UWA Motorsport team where we build a Formula Student racecar and send it of to Melbourne at the end of the year to compete with other teams from around Oceania. I am always happy to share more and even photos of the racecar!
