What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy guiding the student's thought process towards an explanation and helping them to figure out not just what the answer is, but how it works and why. Knowing the reasoning behind formulas and theory is often more important than simply knowing the right answer, as I came to learn myself during high school; I enjoy giving others the opportunity to fully understand and unravel a subject.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

A combination of patience and experience. As a recent school graduate with a 90+ ATAR, I believe I have the curriculum knowledge and study skills necessary; however, I think patience and an open attitude are equally as important, and I would strive to embody those qualities as a tutor. I'd trust that I have the calmness and communication skills to explain simple and advanced topics in an accessible manner.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important role of a tutor is to give the student a chance to learn according to their own skills. Whilst school classes are integral, often students may get lost or left behind as the curriculum advances. Without the individual attention of a tutor they may have lingering gaps in their education and understanding that go unresolved; by having one-on-one lessons, a student has the opportunity to focus on their individual strengths and weaknesses, allowing them to achieve both better outcomes and a more adept grasp of the subject.
