What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I feel very proud seeing my students reach their goal! It is also enjoyable trying to understand their ways of learning since everyone has their own ways of making sense of content.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

I would say I am patient, kind, and would always bring a positive attitude to the lesson, empowering the student as they learn so they feel a sense of belonging. Skills wise, I am able to multitask, have great attention to detail, time management , adaptability and good communication, as it is important to ensure the student understands what the concepts properly.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

Take time and firstly understand the students ability in understanding concepts, and then finding methods which will support them in assisting the student. Tutors should also be readily available incase the student needs assistance on assignments or assessments. The tutor is responsible for marking the work as well as ensuring the student are a safe and comfortable enough to ask questions they don’t understand.
