What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Through my previous informal tutoring for maths, piano and UCAT, I enjoy most the personal connection that you form with students. I love when someone understands a concept through my own explanations and I really do enjoy guiding and teaching others through hardships and potholes because when someone finally understands something, the joy is shared between student and tutor.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

With a 99.95 ATAR and recognition as an HSC All-round Achiever, I bring my academic excellence and passion for learning to tutoring. I have previous tutoring experience, including leading a UCAT study group, mentoring younger students for Maths Enrichment (Polya), and teaching piano. These opportunities have refined my ability to communicate concepts effectively. My HSC success across a range of subjects, including Mathematics Extension 1 and 2, English Advanced, Physics, and Music, equips me with the necessary knowledge to support students at all levels.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is genuinely care about their situation and really try and help them get better. This fosters trust and a much higher quality of education as the student is both willing to actually learn and the tutor is willing to teach properly. Another important thing is the ability to communicate concepts by breaking them down and explaining things step by step, as this is the best way hard concepts and problems can be understood by a student.
