What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy helping students to learn and seeing them become confident and passionate in their subjects. I love seeing young people bring the skills they've learnt in their subjects out into the real world and finding a sense of purpose in their lives through their schoolwork. The most enjoyable thing about tutoring is to see a student grow and evolve into the best version of themselves!
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have a passion for teaching young people to succeed in their schooling. In my experience, academic success can be a lot of pressure on a student and my biggest strength is the compassion and understanding I have as a tutor to put the time and effort in to help a student succeed in their schooling.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do is to be empathetic and understand how the student learns to be able to teach them in a meaningful way. The best way to teach a student is to give them the time and attention they need to learn that they otherwise wouldn't get in a class of 20-30 students. Tutors also have to be able to make the student aware of the value of their subjects and the skills that they learn which can be applicable to their lives outside of their academics. Therefore I believe the most pertinent skills a tutor should have is their ability to understand and observe as well as their ability to communicate and motivate their student to be the best version of themselves.
