What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy that tutoring allows me to meet and connect with other people, being students and other tutors. I have always loved learning, studying and note taking. Tutoring enables me to help others also develop that positive relationship with learning, allowing themselves to reach their fullest potential.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As a tutor, my strengths lie in my organisational and communication skills. I ensure I organise lessons beforehand, being confident in the content I am teaching, and understanding what each students strengths are. I also take pride in developing a positive connection with my students and their parents. Where they feel comfortable in their learning environment and are not afraid to ask questions or be unsure about something.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is understand their needs. Whether it be how they learn, what areas they struggle in, or which areas they wish to excel in. Each student is different from the other, and understanding these differences is key in helping the student with their learning. Building a positive relationship is also important in tutoring, ensuring clear communication, positive feedback and a strong rapport. A student needs to feel comfortable around their tutor in order to reach their full potential, and a positive learning environment ensures this.
