What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

(NOTE: MY PHONE NUMBER IS +1 (312) 539-0905, the application form just will not let me add an American phone number) I greatly enjoy connecting with students, and watching them grow in their studies. While I have only been briefly paid to tutor, I have tutored with non-profits and public schools for 7 years, and have watched students from ages 5 to 18 grow in their understanding of subject matter, become more motivated students, and discover their academic passions. I love helping students not only improve their academic standing, but grow in their enjoyment of their courses.

I believe that I am a very effective communicator, both emotionally and in an instructive capacity. I believe that I am a highly empathic and motivational person, but my extensive experience with students has also helped me learn how to tailor my instruction to a student's needs, and adapt my methods when necessary.

The most important thing that a tutor can do for a student is be a constant support system. When students need extra help in a subject, they need academic support, but they also need consistent motivation and encouragement. Most of the students I have worked with have had such amazing potential for greatness in their courses, but just needed someone who would help them maintain consistent motivation and work ethic.
