What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy being able to teach a subject that I myself found an interest and passion in where I am enthusiastic to share my knowledge to younger students that may have more difficulty grasping these concepts. I also enjoy seeing where people improve and succeed from what I have taught in which I gain a sense of accomplishment too.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I started small study groups from year 7 where I would help my close friends with maths and science before their tests which branched out to larger groups with other peers as the years progressed. I have also taught maths and ICAS preparation to my little brother's friends aged from 8-10 so they are able to build a strong foundation of the basic concepts first before going on to the more difficult areas. With deep understandings of my subjects, I will be able to explain concepts clearly in a way that the students can easily understand while learning about their strengths and weaknesses so I can tailor the education to specific needs. I can communicate these studies well and bring fun to the students' learning where they can become motivated to do better while actively aiming for improvement.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Understanding the students' needs and making sure to target areas of weaknesses while continuing to develop their strengths through finding out their preferred style of learning to maximise improvements in their academics. Tutors also should be able to share their enthusiasm for a subject to their students so they can develop a sense of curiosity and excitement as well, motivating them to go beyond and form a love for learning
