May is much more confident in her subtraction up to 20 which she did very quickly and accurately today. I had also quizzed her on a few simple addition and subtraction questions which she was able to do through mental arithmetic. She is recognising numbers, reading English sentences and writing them down neatly, so all very well.

Continuing addition and subtraction practice with two digit numbers and three digit expanding up 40. As she is still a bit unsure after the number 20. Reading and writing more advanced English.

May was very confident with reading her sentences and recognising words. If she had any trouble she would sound it out.

A bit more work on subtraction to be more confident especially with numbers after 10.

Reading short story. May is quite confident with reading stories and with any unsure words she will sound it out first then figure out the words. She was a little confused about subtraction initially but quickly got the hang of it and did all the exercises very well afterwards.
