What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The fact that tutoring gives me the ability to empathise with my students and connect with them on a personal level, having faced similar struggles myself, I can relate to their challenges and pass on the lessons I've learned which helps me tailor my approach to each student's unique needs. It’s incredibly rewarding to see the moment a concept clicks for them, marking their progress and teaching me how to refine my explanations. The whole experience of tutoring not only fuels my passion for guiding but also strengthens my commitment to helping students succeed.

Turning learning into a collaborative and engaging process is what I practice. By truly understanding each student’s learning style, I can tailor my approach to support their progress effectively. Being deeply passionate about what I teach and how I teach helps to motivate and inspire my students, I also excel at breaking down complex concepts into manageable, relatable parts, making learning feel accessible and achievable. My approachability and understanding nature creates an environment that is very vital to succeeding in learning as a student.

The most important things a tutor can do is to create an environment that goes beyond academics, building a supportive foundation where students feel free to present ideas, develop their own problem-solving approaches, and understand that making mistakes is a valuable part of learning. Having graduated the IB (International Baccalaureate) myself I understand how this approach helps students build critical thinking skills and resilience, preparing them to counter challenges be it in any aspect of life.
